This year, “Santa Clarita Diet” once again returned to Netflix and brought along with it the return of stars Olyphant and Barrymore as the “adults” of the Hammond Family, who continue to struggle with Barrymore’s character, Sheila, making the unexplainable transition to a member of the “undead.”

Real estate agents by day and murderers by night (or whenever Sheila is overcome with the urge to eat human flesh), the two parents along with their daughter, Abby (played by Liv Hewson), and next door neighbor, Eric (played by Skyler Gisondo), must evade capture for their crimes while also attempting to find a cure for Sheila’s “undeadness.”

Amphitheater Feasibility Study

The City of Santa Clarita is encouraging the public to provide their feedback regarding a potential amphitheater in Santa Clarita by taking an online survey by Friday, March 16, 2018.

Click to take the Amphitheatre Feasibility Survey

The short survey encompasses seven questions, asking residents to provide their thoughts on potential programming, cultural and entertainment usage, and design and appearance for an amphitheater, should one be built in the City.

Throughout its history, the City of Santa Clarita has been committed to providing its residents with opportunities to experience art-based events, performances and programs.   In the 2016 Arts Master Plan, the City emphasized an interest in an amphitheater capitalizing on the nature and open space available in the Santa Clarita Valley. The addition of an amphitheater would allow the City to host events in an environment that is specifically designed for their art and entertainment needs.

The survey is part of an Amphitheater Feasibility Study being conducted by the City and consulting group AEA Consulting. Residents may access the survey directly at surveymonkey.com/r/amphitheater. For more information regarding the feasibility or survey, please contact Jenni Thompson at jthompson@santa-clarita.com.
