Artist Selection Committee Interest Form– The City of Santa Clarita’s Art Team is looking for Arts Experts, Professional Arts Administrators, Local Professional Artists, and Community Members to submit their interest to serve on our Artist Selection Committees. If selected to serve on a committee a $300 stipend will be provided. A W9 is required to receive payment.
College Intern, Arts (Undergrad Level) – Apply Now! The City of Santa Clarita is committed to providing a challenging and meaningful work experience for college students. The City offers unique opportunities for students to gain hands-on and in-depth experience in a variety of disciplines related to local, regional, state, and federal government operations. We provide real world work assignments, which provide interns the opportunity to work side-by-side with professional City staff committed to teamwork and providing superior municipal services to the community of Santa Clarita. The ideal candidate should have a passion for civic arts administration and an interest in gaining experience in the arts or arts administration, community engagement, public sector work and advocacy. The application deadline is June 19th, 2024 at 11:59 PM.
10 by 10 – Variety night giving ten selected entertainers the chance to take the stage for a ten-minute performance of their choosing. Audience members will enjoy storytelling, magic, comedy, improv, music, and other forms of entertainment at this ever changing event.
SCVTV Arts & Culture Show – SCVTV is creating an Arts & Culture show to promote arts and culture in the Santa Clarita Valley. Throughout the show, they will be running interstitials featuring a variety of art forms and are seeking videos/slideshows from artists and performers.
Santa Clarita Symphony Orchestra – Santa Clarita Symphony Orchestra presents the first ever 2024 Youth Concerto Competition. This includes winds, brass percussion, strings, and piano.
