This year, “Santa Clarita Diet” once again returned to Netflix and brought along with it the return of stars Olyphant and Barrymore as the “adults” of the Hammond Family, who continue to struggle with Barrymore’s character, Sheila, making the unexplainable transition to a member of the “undead.”
Real estate agents by day and murderers by night (or whenever Sheila is overcome with the urge to eat human flesh), the two parents along with their daughter, Abby (played by Liv Hewson), and next door neighbor, Eric (played by Skyler Gisondo), must evade capture for their crimes while also attempting to find a cure for Sheila’s “undeadness.”
