Explore Greg Mueller’s “Bike Book” sculpture at the Old Town Newhall Library. Installed in 2022, this piece combines decommissioned bike frames with fabricated steel to create a bike rack inspired by the concept of a library book.

Located on the entrance sidewalk, the sculpture integrates recycled bike frames into the design, turning them into a metaphorical book where each frame tells its own story. This unique piece was selected through a juried process to enrich the City of Santa Clarita’s Public Art Collection.

Greg Mueller, known for his site-specific public art, transforms reclaimed materials into compelling sculptures. Based in Lutsen, Minnesota, Mueller’s work spans a range of materials and community partnerships, creating objects imbued with hope and history.
