Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival Tickets Go On Sale
Tickets for the 24th Annual Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival go on sale Tuesday, January 3. The Cowboy Festival takes over Old Town Newhall April 19-23 with the sights, sounds and swagger of Cowboy Life. Attendees will be surrounded by life on the American Frontier as performers serenade, vendors serve up BBQ treats and merchants offer one-of-a-kind gear and goods. Leading up to the two day festival and scheduled shows at the Canyon Theatre Guild and the Repertory East Playhouse, there is a full menu of entertainment available.

Santa Clarita City Seeks Art Entries for Exhibit
The city of Santa Clarita Arts and Events Office is seeking art entries for an exhibit that will feature a variety of art pieces addressing the theme of numbers, math, and rocket science. This exhibit will be featured in the First Floor Gallery at Santa Clarita City Hall and is open to artists located in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

“Westworld” Nominated for 3 Golden Globes, 2 SAG Awards
HBO’s “Westworld,” which is filmed in Santa Clarita, was nominated for three Golden Globes Awards Monday, including a nod for best dramatic television series. The next day, the show was nominated for two SAG Awards, presented by the Screen Actors Guild.
