City Hosts Launch Party for New Santa Clarita Arts Website

On Saturday, October 22, the City of Santa Clarita hosted a launch party for its new website, SantaClaritaArts.com, at The Patios @ Westfield Valencia Town Center.

The website is a result of a commitment by the City and the Arts Commission to support the thriving arts community and offer a resource for residents seeking arts activities and information. With a calendar highlighting arts events around town as well as a directory of creative services and arts news, the website is quickly becoming the best source for arts and culture in the Santa Clarita Valley.

The well-attended launch party brought awareness to the website and also highlighted some of the great artwork in our city. As visitors strolled through the Patios, they listened to musical performances by a violinist, a harpist, and a trio. They also viewed paintings, photographs, and ceramics from six different artists displaying their works. At the center of it all was a large screen showing the website and its wealth of arts information.

To submit an arts event for the calendar or artist information for the creative directory, visit santaclaritaarts.com.
