The Canyon Theatre Guild is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Arts Organization in its 44th year of production. They produce 10 full-scale productions each season with more than 30,000 attendees and 500 citizen artists and volunteers who donate their time, talent, and hard work. In addition to the support of thousands of Santa Clarita citizens, the CTG also receives support from local government, businesses, and corporations.
The Canyon Theatre Guild also serves the youth of the Santa Clarita Valley through its Youth Theatre Institute, which includes Family Season shows for families with children, Summer Workshops for children ages 6 through 17, After School Workshops, and Adventures in Theater daytime workshops for home-schooled students.
As a community organization, Canyon Theatre Guild gives back to the Santa Clarita Valley in a number of ways, including scholarships to participants as well as graduating high school seniors, free theater tickets to the Boys & Girls Club and other non-profit organizations, donation of gallery space to the Santa Clarita Artists’ Association, and donation of goods and services to approximately 94 community non-profit organizations each year.
