My “In Motion” artwork is so obvious and necessary. In the beginning, my “In Motion” art originated from one word which I repeated throughout my Master's program in Art. I find "Movement" is essential after being a competitive runner and cyclist. Early on, my passion for motion seemed to exist in everything and everywhere.

More specifically, I now fast forward to the now and our future. The mindset and fervor I have and have always had is to actively exhibit my positive support for unified movement for equality. With this, I believe that is also is a way to visually share peaceful movement and without barriers, suppression and prejudice.

Still, I have success challenges. My art exhibition direction includes visual harmonization on social and political level that needs to be faced daily and in person. However, I believe encountering the limited ability to exhibit in galleries and museums is cause for challenge for my project. Solely relying on social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube, is a disservice.

On the other hand, I have experienced plenty that is working. Recently, my current “Black and Color in Motion” series has been shown in some exhibitions. I have been fortunate to exhibit images from this series in the “Hindsight is 2020” and “Living Through A Pandemic” online shows. Digital prints from my “Black and Color in Motion Series” are being mailed frequently to bring awareness to supporting unified movement for equality. Lastly, my first animation artwork of this same series has been made available to the public through social media.

I am currently creating and will expand upon my creation of Black and Color Motion Animation, Digital Art, and Painting Abstractions. In my awareness and experience of our current and future challenges, I am passionate about growing my “Black and Color in Motion” project. The expansion of this project is my way to communicate authentically my concern and expression of our at-risk harmonization of all people on a global level. Learning from Sam Gilliam’s experience and artwork in the 1960’s, my exhibition is politically motivated to share a visually connected juxtaposition of imagery. Rather than feelings of sadness and regret, this artwork I am creating is an invitation to see and feel this necessity for movement and positive change for everyone. Whether it be Divisiveness, BLM Marches, LGBTQIA, or World Cultures, my plan moving forward is to expand this activist experience and accomplishments thus far.
