The latest exhibit at The MAIN features graphic-novel style acrylic pieces by Hollywood artist Phobik. The solo exhibit invites the audience to journey into Phobik’s imagination and explores the mythology behind a protagonist character: Phobik God.
Phobik is a self-taught artist out of Hollywood, California. From graphic novel illustration and fine art to mural and interior design, Phobik’s artwork transcends multiple styles. Phobik draws inspiration for his original comic book illustrations from his personal experiences growing up in Hollywood along with influences from the He-Man cartoon series.
Phobik’s work has been showcased in international galleries and his murals in Los Angeles have been archived by The Google Street Art Project and have been awarded recognition by the city of Los Angeles.

An art reception will take place on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Participants will enjoy light appetizers, entertainment, and a chance to meet the artist.
The gallery at The MAIN is open Tuesday through Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and during all events.
