Organic, soulful, emotional work is the heart of Skye Amber Sweet’s art. Her tree paintings are filled with the wonder of life, embracing leaves, bark, branches, and roots. The life of a tree begins with the seed from which it grows, and as an artist, Sweet believes that seeds growing in a new landscape require a community to fully thrive.

Amber’s art exemplifies her passion to make a difference in the world in public spaces, as she takes on projects for which she tirelessly fundraises. Her canvases are, to her, the fertile ground from which her projects grow, achieve realization, and offer the opportunity of art and beauty for viewers to enjoy.
