“My inspiration comes from the beauty I see in all of God’s Creation.” – Artist Jose Barba
“From the beautiful colors of the sun rising over the mountains in the morning to the light shining through a translucent wave at sunset. My hope is that my art would be an outward expression of the light coming from within.”

“In my most recent project, ‘Recycled Art’, I repurpose elements cut from my own artwork and my photos to create new Mixed Media Collages.” – Artist Lynda Frautnick
I have always wanted to be an artist, but life always got in the way. However, in retirement I was able to reinvent myself. I started with workshops in Chinese Watercolor and fell in love with the medium. Eight years later, I quite accidentally discovered Alcohol Ink and have spent five years teaching myself and refining my techniques with these vibrant inks. During the pandemic last year, I began taking online classes in Abstract Acrylic. At present, I’m obsessed with the cutting up old art work to recycle and repurpose into Mixed Media Collage. I am a member of Santa Clarita Artists Association and Women Painters West, and I finally call myself an artist.

“I often paint outdoors making my watercolors brighter and more transparent.” – Artist Jeanne Iler
