“Precious Grandmother” recognizes and celebrates the incredible contributions grandmothers have made in our lives. Works in the exhibit will feature the theme of grandmothers prominently in the piece, and will depict a broad range of the relationships between grandmothers and grandchildren. Many of the pieces will be accompanied by written works by local writers and poets.
The Annual Master’s University Global Photo Contest

Over 70 photographs are now being exhibited at the Newhall Community Center by students from The Master’s University (TMU). The images will be on display until February 20, 2017.
TMU students participate in the annual Global Photo Contest as a part of the school’s Global Mobilization week. These photos were taken by students at home, on vacations, during study abroad opportunities, and on service learning projects.
Founded in 1927, The Master’s University is an historic liberal arts school with strong professional training. TMU’s student body comes from 40 states and 35 countries.
