An esteemed panel shares their experience and techniques on marketing themselves and their work. The panel discussion will serve as a resource for artists who are interested in capitalizing on the popularity of social media to market artwork and collaborate. This unique workshop will provide attendees with valuable insight into the social media world as the panel of experts will provide artists with key terms, tools and concepts to consider. Effective use of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other tools will be discussed.
Panelists include Mayumi Miyasato (Communications Specialist at the City of Santa Clarita managing the City’s social media outreach among other duties), Phobik (illustrator, fine artist, muralist, and interior designer whose artwork doesn’t stick to a single style) and Josh Zamudio (lifestyle photographer and founder of Positive Minds clothing whose philosophy is, “we want to empower people to succeed”).
